Get ready to take your transport-loving kids along to Morecambe on Sunday, May 18 for this year’s vintage bus day.
Organised by Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust, it promises to be a great day out for all the family.
Families will be able to hop on one of the many vintage buses between 09.30 & 17.00 to take them to the main event at Morecambe FC Mazuma Stadium.
The free buses will run every 10-15 minutes from the following stops:
- Carnforth Railway Station
- Happy Mount Park
- Bare
- Morecambe Winter Gardens
- Morecambe Mazuma Stadium
- Heysham Village
You’ll be able to hop on and off the buses as they tour around the bay and make your way back to your original destination on the same free service.
The event promises memorabilia stalls, mystery tours, and film archives once at the football grounds.
Although the event is free, donations are encouraged to help preserve the buses and ensure future vintage bus days.
