Lancaster Lit Fest 2025 kicks off today (March 7) for its annual celebration of all things literary.
The children’s portion of the festival will take place across Lancaster Library, The Storey, The Dukes, and a walking tour starting from The Water Witch.
The free event caters to all children from newborns to 16-year-olds.
There will be crafting at the library where children can make their own ‘artist’s book’, a canal side story hunt with treasure maps and clues, and talks from popular authors.
There are a number of drop-in sessions, but some events will need to be booked in advance.
